Research experiences

My research is mainly focused on watershed hydrology and water resources regulation. The main research projectis to develop, apply and set up watershed hydrology model and validate water quantity/quality-related ecosystem models. During the last ten years, myresearch group has been approaching the fundamental hydrology and water quality assessment model theories in watershed, river and lake. My current research interest is also on the hydrological characters analysis of watershed, water quantity and quality modeling in rural and streams in underlying surface andclimate change conditions.


Some of projects are listed as thefollowing:

1.Simulation of hydrological extreme events in a typical basin and their comparison on different responses. the project is supported by National Natural science Foundation of China (2013-2016)

2.The response mechanism on the salt desertification on the condition of large-scale water saving irrigation scheme in the Manasi Oasis. the project is supported by National Naturalscience Foundation of China (2012-2016)

3.Drought early warning and water resource deployment in Tarim Basin,(2010-2014), supported by MWR of China.

4.Study on the influence mechanism on the extreme flood and drought events inthe Dongting Lake Basin.(2010-2013) supportedby MWR of China.

5.Research on Phosphate distribution modeling and itscritical source area orientation based on the sensitive hydrological area simulation. (2009-2012), theproject is supported by National Natural science Foundation of China.

6.Research on Phosphorus and Nitrogen load transmission mechanismin small basin based on artificial rainfall experiments. (2011-2013) The project is supported by Special Fund  of State Key Laboratory of Hydrology-Water Resources and Hydraulic Engineering,Hohai University.

7.Study on Random Sampling Method and Simulation of Agricultural Non-point Source Pollution based on parameter extrapolation. (2007-2009), the project is supported by National Natural science Foundation of China.

8.The Effects of Land-use types on the Hydrology and waterquality of Huai River Basin, China. (2006-2008). The project is supported by National Natural science Foundation of China.

9.Research on Cumulative Environment Effect Analysis of Water Exploitation Based on Compound basin Ecosystem. (2005-2007) The project is supported by Special Fundof State Key Laboratory of Hydrology-Water Resources and Hydraulic Engineering,Hohai University.
